• Where do you ship from? Bisbee, Arizona.
  
  
• What forms of payment do you accept? We use PayPal for online payment. If you prefer to mail a check to cover the amount of your purchase, please contact us so that we can pull the item from inventory for you.
  
  
• How long will it take to receive my order? Except for custom orders, we endeavor to send items within three days of payment confirmation. Once shipped, most domestic orders with standard shipping will take between 2 and 10 business days to arrive, depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times may vary between 2 and 12 weeks.
  
  
• What is your return and exchange policy? Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If the item doesn't meet your expectations, return it within 10 days for a full refund of the purchase price (less shipping) or credit toward a different item.
  
  
• Do you accept orders placed outside of the US? Only to Canada, and only for jewelry.
  
  
• Do these items come from a smoke-free and/or pet-free environment? Smoke-free, but not pet-free. My family currently includes a dog, a parrot, a small flock of chickens, and an indoor-only cat.
  
  
• What is polymer clay? It's a versatile, lightweight artists' medium whose properties allow for a wide range of creative expression. It can be used to simulate ceramics, lampworked glass, semiprecious gems, stone, metal, and more, and as a sculptural medium for creating realistic and imaginative figures. One popular use is in intricately patterned millefiori canes that can be sliced to use as beads or apply to surfaces as a veneer.
  
  
• What is the bird in your store banner? A Blue-throated Hummingbird, one of a group of large hummingbirds known as mountain-gems (or mountaingems) that are found primarily in the tropics. This species lives as far north as southeastern Arizona, southwestern New Mexico, and western Texas. I wrote the "biography" of this species for the landmark Birds of North America project. The image is from an acrylic painting I completed in 1996.
